Supersonic - Oasis Documentary Trailer

It’s been one of the most eagerly awaited documentaries of recent years, but the trailer for next months Oasis Documentary has finally been released. Entitled Supersonic it chronicles the Gallagher brothers rise from their humble beginnings through to the height of their fame as rock giants.

Oasis was like a Ferrari - great to look at, great to be in, but it does spin out of control every now and again.

Produced by the same team behind the Academy Award-winning biopic Amy, the trailer never before seen behind-the-scenes footage of the band, and exclusive interviews, making it an absolute must for all Oasis fans.

Supersonic documents the band's rise to fame over a period of three years from being an unsigned band from a Manchester council estate up to their career pinnacle at Knebworth where they played to 250,000 fans over 2 days in what was the biggest outdoor concert ever held. It also features their highs and lows and how the media and tabloid press both helped and hindered them, and as previously mentioned it features hours of footage of new interviews with Noel and Liam, their mother and members of the band and road crew.

Although Liam and Noel’s voiceovers were recorded separately, the film has given hope to fans who feel it is the brother’s first attempt at uniting since their acrimonious split in 2009. Time will tell I guess.

The film hits UK cinemas on October 2nd, and hopefully more details will be available over the coming weeks, but for now take a look at the trailer below.
