We're big fans of our British indie bands here at Van Mildert but find it incredibly frustrating that one of the best bands, Oasis, hasn't allowed any of its music to be made available on the music streaming service Spotify. All that could be about to change however, Oasis' management company have spoken and said they're, "in advanced talks with Spotify", and expect a deal to be made very soon.
All going well, classic Oasis albums such as ‘Definitely Maybe’ and ‘What’s the Story Morning Glory’ will be available on the online service in the coming weeks. Life is unlikely to be made easy for fans however if the recent Pink Floyd example is anything to go. Before the full Pink Floyd back catalogue was made available, fans had to unlock the music by streaming ‘Wish You Were Here’ 1,000,000 times.
