Based upon Marvel Comics most unconventional anti-hero, Deadpool tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson, who after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool. Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humor, Deadpool hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life.
In what is now the eighth installment of the X-Men film series, Ryan Reynolds is set to star as the Marvel Comics superhero whose life is changed forever when some experimental cancer curing treatment goes wrong.
Also starring Morena Baccarin, Ed Skrein, T.J. Miller, Gina Carano, Brianna Hildebrand, and cameo’s by X-Men co-creator Stan Lee, and Deadpool co-creator Rob Liefield, early previews of the film have been met with hugely positive reviews, particularly within the comic book community who state that Deadpool is the most accurate to how it was originally written of any of the Marvel releases to date.
Released by 20th Century Fox, Deadpool hits the big screen on February 10th, but you can watch the latest trailer below.
