The new Historical Archive, based at the company's Ravarino headquarters in the province of Modena, has been inaugurated in less than 18 months of the seismic events of 2012 and ensures Stone Island's sartorial history remains invulnerable to any acts of God. Built with the a strong material matrix of reinforced concrete, COR-TEN steel and glass, the 18,000 square metre construction - which houses over 20,000 items of clothing - boasts the most rigid and earthquake-proof properties that modern day architecture has to offer.
