One of the most decorated film casts of all time, The Expandables 3 stars not one , not two, but 17 of the most renowned actors that action movies have to offer.
Telling the story of an American mercenary group led by Barney Ross (Sylvester Stallone), the third instalment of the franchise sees Expendables stalwarts Lee Christmas (Jason Statham), Yin Yang (Jet Li), Gunner Jenson (Dolph Lungren), Toll Road (Randy Couture), Trench Mauser (Arnold Schwarzenegger) and Hale Ceasar (Terry Crews) return to action as they come up against the troupe’s co-founder-turned-arms dealer, Conrad Stonebanks (Mel Gibson).
Also jumping on board the A-list cast are Antonio Banderas, Wesley Snipes, Harrison Ford, Kelsey Grammer, Kellan Lutz, Ronda Rousey, Glen Powell, Victor Ortiz and Robert Davi.
This ‘who’s who of action films’ cast sets The Expandables 3 up to be one of the most exciting films the genre has seen in a long while, and with Stallone in charge of the film’s screenplay and storyline it is not one to be missed.
Anyone familiar with the first two films in the series will know what to expect - gripping action, brutal weapons, outrageous explosions and plenty of tongue in cheek humour playing on the some-what ridiculousness of the whole production.
