The third release in the classic Marvel series sees an all-star cast headed once again by Chris Hemsworth, as Thor battles the villainous Hela to prevent the impending Ragnarok that spells doom for the civilisation.
Four years after the events of Thor: The Dark World, and two years after the events of Avengers: Age of Ultron…
…Thor is imprisoned on the other side of the universe without his mighty hammer and finds himself in a race against time to get back to Asgard to stop Ragnarok—the destruction of his homeworld and the end of Asgardian civilization—at the hands of an all-powerful new threat, the ruthless Hela. But first he must survive a deadly gladiatorial contest that pits him against his former ally and fellow Avenger—the Incredible Hulk!
As mentioned this is the third in the Thor series, and the seventeenth Marvel cinematic release, following in the footsteps of film series like Iron Man, The Avengers, Captain America, Guardians Of The Galaxy, which have taken more the $12.5 billion at the box office.
Aussie Chris Hemsworth again takes up the mantle of Thor, with Cate Blanchett staring as antagonist Hela, and Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie. Tom Hiddleston returns as Loki and Jeff Goldblum returns as the Grandmaster. The film also stars Idris Elba, Karl Urban, Mark Ruffalo, and Anthony Hopkins to name some more.
