The rumours of the past 12 months can finally be put to bed after Noel Gallagher confirmed that his second album since his split from Oasis will be released in March next year. The follow up to the 2011 self-titled Number 1 album, Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds, will be called Chasing Yesterday and will feature the legendary Smiths guitarist Johnny Marr.
If you’re a massive fan and think March feels like an eternity away you don’t need to worry as the first single,In The Heat Of The Moment, is due to be released on the 17th November. That’s about as much as we know though, as when Noel was pressed to elaborate on the single he replied with “Is it great? Of course it is. What does it mean, it doesn't mean anything."...Classic Mr Gallagher.
In addition to the new album, details of a UK arena tour have also been announced with dates in London, Manchester, Nottingham, Glasgow, and Belfast. Get yourself excited with the new single below.
