Stone Island, the iconic Italian menswear brand, is celebrating its 30 year anniversary with a specially designed AW12 collection. Pulling inspiration from three decades of design, highlights of the collection are three key pieces.
The first, the Tela Stella jacket, is a reproduction of a piece from Stone Island’s initial 1982 collection and uses military canvas to create a weather proof jacket. The jacket is already available in selected Van Mildert stores and online in three colours, red, blue and yellow. Bringing the collection right up to date is the Reflective Knit. The knit is made up of thousands of glass microspheres, meaning it is highly reflective and develops further Stone Island’s liquid reflective technology. We are expecting this knit to arrive any day. Finally, the 30/30 jacket, a jacket so complex that it can be worn in 30 different ways and comes with its own handbook. We are very excited to announce the 30/30 has now arrived but if you’re interested in buying one you’ll need to act fast.
