Take a look as FilmSpektakel release another of their ‘A Taste of…’ series. Located in the heart of Europe have a taste of the beautiful City of Vienna, which with its enormous rich culture and history serves as capital of Austria.
Shot by filmmakers Thomas Pöcksteiner and Peter Jablonowski, A Taste Of Vienna aptly demonstrates the rich cultural and architectural scenes of the Austrian capital, flitting from opera performances to music festivals, and surveying everything from the city’s tramways, to its soaring cathedrals, to Habsburg-era palaces, to some lesser known local favourites.
This wasn’t a rush job either. It took the guys one week of planning for every single frame, and one year of production – although this was done in between paid jobs, and university work. The only easy thing about it was the Vienna is their home city, so they at least didn’t have far to travel each time.
And in case you wondered what the difference is between Hyperlapse and Timelapse, where Timelapse is just a station camera the records the same view over a speeded up period of time, Hyperlapse is a moving camera the captures a view again over a speeded up time period.
