Released a few days ago on what would have been his 45th Birthday the first film trailer for the Tupac Shakur bio-drama All Eyez On Me has been met with much anticipation. Find out more here.
The Morgan Creek Productions film is set to be a comprehensive look at his career, from its very beginnings to his drive-by murder in 1996, and in the intense minute-long clip it gives us a first in-depth look at unknown actor Demetrius Shipp, Jr. in the role of Tupac.
Demetrius, bears an uncanny resemblance to the California Love hit-maker and can be seen performing shirtless on stage in front of a wild crowd during the teaser.
The clip also features narration from The Walking Dead star Danai Gurira, who portrays Tupac's late mother Afeni Shakur.
Afeni was serving as executive producer on the Benny Boom-directed movie before her death last month.
Rap icon Tupac was only 25 years old when he was shot in Las Vegas on September 7, 1996 after a long-lasting East Coast vs. West Coast feud. He died six days later and the murder still remains unsolved to this day.
All Eyez On Me is tentatively due to be released on November 11th, but you can view the much talked about first trailer below.
