Ah, footwear and fizzy drinks, that classic combination. In one of this year’s more intriguing footwear collaborations, sportswear giants adidas have teamed up with Coca Cola to take on the Climacool 1, offering up a rather eye-catching new silhouette in a not-so-unfamiliar range of colours.
Originally created back in 2002 for the FIFA World Cup in South Korea and Japan, the two corporate giants have joined forces yet again to treat you lot to some of this year’s most in-your-face sneakers, but somehow, it just works…
Now that you’re up to date, maybe you should check out the tasty sneakers. The Cola inspired adidas footwear boasts not one, but two colourways. One being the classic red and gold colour combination with matching gold accents, dual branding in the heel, and Coca Cola football logos on the insoles.
Of course, if you’re of the Diet Coke/Coke Zero persuasion, there’s something for you too. In follow up to the fully fledged Coca Cola interpretation, you can get your hands on the silver and red version, in homage to the lighter fizzy drink. See, there is method in the madness…
