Premiering on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night here is the first trailer for Captain America: Civil War - the latest in Marvel’s onslaught of superhero movies, and the film promises a major divide within the Avengers.
After the events of Avengers: Age of Ultron, another international incident involving Captain America and the Avengers results in collateral damage, prompting politicians to form a system of accountability and a governing body to determine when to call in the Avengers. This results in the fracturing of the team with Captain America on one side and Iron Man on the other, while they attempt to protect the world from a new enemy.
The film is again directed by the Russo brothers, and is being distributed by Walt Disney Studios, and boasts an all star cast which includes Chris Evans (Captain America), Robert Downey Jr (Iron Man), Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow), Sebastian Stan (Winter Soldier), Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye), and Paul Rudd (Ant-Man).
And as a bonus for us lot here in the UK, we will get to see the full film a week before our American counterparts, as the UK release date has been set as April 29th.
