Fury And Chisora Head Up Best Of British Boxing

The resurgence in British boxing is showing no signs of letting up, and this will again be confirmed as Tyson Fury takes on Dereck Chisora for the British & European Heavyweight Titles at the ExCel Arena in London this coming Saturday night.

This will be the second fight between the two with Fury picking up a Unanimous Decision win back in 2011.

Fury is undefeated with a perfect record of 22-0, and whilst Chisora has tasted defeat, he is on a resurgence having won his previous 5 fights all within a 10 month spell.

Tensions have been fraught between the two leading up to this, with Fury collecting a £15’000 fine for a foul mouthed outburst when the two met face to face in June. There was however no risk of this happening at the press conference in September when Tyson literally had his mouth taped shut the whole time. Chisora simply said “I will knock him out!".

The winner of this encounter should not be short of options, with a shot at Wladimir Klitschko’s WBO World Heavyweight Title looking the most tasty option, although Liverpool Heavyweight David Price, and Olympic Games gold medallist and currently undefeated boxer Anthony Joshua have both voiced their hopes for a future fight.

There should also be fireworks on the undercard of this event as Chris Eubank Jr will take on Billy Joe Saunders for the British Middleweight Title.

Both fighters are unbeaten, with Saunders boasting a 20-0 record, and Eubank Jr an 18-0 one. The winner of this will also be looking at having a shot at the WBO World Middleweight Title, and although there is bad blood between the pair, there was no problem with any trouble at the build up press conferences, as Eubank Jr has no showed all three that have been organized!

It should be a superb mouth watering night of action in front or a crowd of 20’000.
