You don’t become a musical genius without being a little dour at times and now, to help us all better understand his woeful existence he so wonderfully warbles about, Steven Patrick Morrissey has released an autobiography. He may hate meat eaters, the Royal Family and Johnny Marr, but you can’t help deny there is something fascinating about the former Smiths frontman.
The book, at Morrissey’s insistence, has been published as a Penguin Classic (he threatened to pull the plug if it wasn’t), instantly putting the author on a par with the likes of Dickens, Homer and Orwell. Whether the book justifies the ‘Classic’ label remains to be seen but reviews have been incredibly positive. The book by this charming man is available from Amazon for £5.99.
