If you’ve got your V Festival ticket already then there’s plenty to be happy about. If not - then I’d get them quick, as the twin-site event has added another stellar bunch of acts to its already fruitful line up.
Joining headliners Justin Timberlake and The Killers on the Virgin Media Stage will be a diverse range of acts including Ed Sheeran, Paolo Nutini, Chic feat Nile Rodgers, The Stranglers, Newton Faulkner, M People, Lily Allen and Rudimental.
Not sold? Well the MTV Stage boasts an equally as juicy menu for your ears, allowing them to feast upon the sounds of Manic Street Preachers, Blondie, The Wailers, Tinie Tempah, Sam Smith, Aloe Blacc, Rizzle Kicks, Starsailor and more – as well as headlining acts Elbow and Axwell Λ Ingrosso.
Without trying to saturate your minds with musical magnificence, the third stage –named Arena Stage - also pulls its weight with a plethora of acts including Alesso, Chase & Status, Above & Beyond, Sub Focus, Rita Ora, Ceelo Green, The Human League and Janelle Monae. Millennial resurgents Sophie Ellis-Bextor and All Saints will also be making an appearance adding a little 90s nostalgia to the ranks.
If music isn’t your thing (then you probably shouldn't be at V Festival), fear not as the Glee Club comedy stage has plenty to offer with dozens of stand-up acts to keep you laughing through the weekend with the mighty Alan Carr, Australia’s Adam Hills and C4’s Stand Up for the Week host Paul Chowdhry all in attendance.
The full V Festival line-up can be seen below.
