What Is Athleisure?

If the term Athleisure had an Oxford Dictionary definition (which we're pretty sure it doesn't) it'd probably say something quite simple like:

Athleisure: a fashion trend in which clothing designed for athletics is worn outside of the gym or sports arena

But, as is often the case in fashion, we can bend the rules a little bit to suit our personalities or the occasion - something we're quite thankful for, a staff meeting in sweatpants isn't something we're ready for just yet. So no, Athleisure isn't necessarily about going for coffee in your full yoga kit (although you can if you'd like), but its more about incorporating a touch of sportswear into your every day wardrobe. Ever seen a girl in a yoga pants whilst she's out and about? Yep, whether she means to or not, that's more or less Athleisure.
