Car manufacturers have always used many weird and wonderful ways to unleash new models upon the public, but never by throwing paint at them! However once Ferrari teamed up with world renowned Swiss artist Fabian Oefner at their headquarters in Maranello, Italy, this messy situation seemed inevitable.
The cars new twin-turbocharged 3.9-litre V-8 engine might have been the 2015 California T’s flagship feature if not for the car’s sharper styling, and what better way to highlight this (quite literally) than by spraying neon paint with glow-in-the-dark pigment on it at 150 mph?! The high-speed and powerful performance of the car can be encapsulated whilst never moving it from the same spot.
This isn’t the first time Oefner has had dealings with Ferrari though, as he used a Ferrari 330 P4 during his ‘Disintegrating Cars’ art exhibition that opened at the M.A.D Gallery in Geneva, Switzerland, in late November last year.
