Earlier this month, the world's hero and South Africa's "greatest son" Nelson Mandela died in Johannesburg at the age of 95. Mr Mandela was known all around the globe for his campaigns against apartheid and white-minority rule in the 1990s after spending 27 years in jail for his political views and activities. He campaigned all his life for equality, gaining the Nobel Peace Prize, Presidential status and millions of fans along the way.
Mandela: The Long Walk To Freedom is the official biopic due to be released on 10 January, that charts the lifelong struggle for freedom in South Africa and Nelson Mandela's triumphant victory becoming South Africa's first Black President. On December 5 on the evening of the film premiere, Mandela dies peacefully in his home - An evening that couldn't have been scripted.
